HOW TO USE OPTX 20/20

Step 1

Wash

OPTX 20/20 Reading Lenses are removable and can be reinstalled as many times as you want by repeating these 4 easy steps with any sunglasses, dive mask, or safety mask.

1. WASH hands, sunglasses (or dive mask), and OPTX 20/20 Reading Lenses with liquid soap and warm water to remove any dust and oils. Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water.

Position

2. With a little bit of clear, warm water still inside your sunglasses, press the Optx lens onto the bottom 25% of each sunglass lens. POSITION the lenses by aligning them with the bottom of your eyelashes and center with the center of your pupil. Should the lense be too high ( 30 mm ), they can be easily cut to size with a normal scissor.

Step 3

Check

3. To CHECK for proper placement, put on your sunglasses and look through your OPTX 20/20 Reading Lenses. Placement adjustments are easily made by sliding your lenses while they are still wet.

Step 4

Dry

4. When properly positioned, press the excess water gently to the sides and pat DRY with a lint-free cloth. Allow the Optx lenses to DRY completely before using. With sunglasses, they are usually ready to go in 10 minutes.

NOTE: For scuba diving, let the Optx lenses set for at least 48 hours before diving. Then they will be perfectly dry and will stay on, even if your dive mask floods.

Molecular adhesion holds Optx lenses in place, but they can be removed just by peeling up with your fingernail. This process can be repeated as many times as you want - with any sunglasses, safety goggles or dive mask.
